Meet Bryce Kolb, owner of Lifeguard Water Safety.
For 13 years I worked as a California State Parks lifeguard, guarding the ocean in Malibu. That job teaches you to read water: where a rip is forming, when a set is about to catch someone off guard, and which swimmer is about to get in trouble before they know it themselves. It also teaches you to stay calm and keep watching.
I started Lifeguard Water Safety to bring that standard to the places LA actually gets in the water: film and commercial sets, backyard and estate pools, boat days, ocean events, and surf and swim lessons. I lead a large network of qualified lifeguards and EMT-certified water professionals, so whether you need one guard for a birthday or a full water team for a surf-zone shoot, the people who show up are people I trust.
